i thought of viewing the Philippines as an outsider but i came up with images of what i used to draw during my childhood there

this was before visiting the country for three weeks earlier this summer

how wrong and simplistic! there were way more coconut trees and bushes than i thought, it was comforting

now i am amazed but mostly sleepy
